🌉 Dhubri–Phulbari Bridge Project | India's Longest River Bridge Under Construction

Dhubri–Phulbari Bridge is one of the most ambitious infrastructure projects in Northeast India. This massive 19.28 km long four-lane bridge is being constructed over the mighty Brahmaputra River, connecting Dhubri in Assam with Phulbari in Meghalaya. Once completed, it will significantly improve connectivity, reduce travel distance by over 200 km, and boost trade, tourism, and economic growth across the region.

The project is being developed by the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited with financial assistance from the Japan International Cooperation Agency and construction by Larsen & Toubro. The bridge is expected to become a game-changer for Assam, Meghalaya, and the entire Northeast region.
