Securing Starter Wall Boards | SolidBuild |Assembly

Fasten starter boards using long wood crews to the floor joists (or to a treated wood foundation directly if you opted out of using floor joists). Predrill and screw inside the grove 2-3 inches away from the corner join. Predrilling is necessary as the wood is thinner there and may split upon screw insertion.
