Regional powers to monitor truce between Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda

The African Union, the United States, and Qatar will jointly oversee the ceasefire between the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda. Qatar's Foreign Ministry described the deal as a "pivotal step" toward a comprehensive peace agreement in eastern DR Congo.
