do not just learn

Learn the procedure behind it.
Here is a quick test.

you are solution-oriented.

You learned the answers.
Not the method.

In Maths, that is not enough.
To score real marks,
you have to be procedure-oriented.

Because a teacher can pick
a brand new problem
that is not even in your book.
The 99th problem.
The unseen one.

They do this on purpose.
To test your procedural fluency.

So when you study,
do not memorise problem by problem.

Ask yourself.

For this chapter,
what is the method?
What are the steps in this method?
How do I apply it
to any problem I am given?

When you study like this,
any problem they throw at you,
you will be ready.
