I was a heavy Loom Screen Capture user back then, as the free version was very usable.

Right now, Loom is under Atlassian and only the paid plan allows for downloading the screen recordings. There could be workarounds but I prefer the clean route, so I looked for a free option.

We found Obs Studio and in this video, we guide you how to start using it to capture your screen and then share the file to anyone.
