Chris Brown Fires Back in Custody Battle – Demands Joint Custody of 4-Year-Old Daughter Lovely #TMZ

Chris Brown is officially fighting for joint custody of his 4-year-old daughter, Lovely Symphani Brown.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the singer's baby mama, Diamond Brown, filed paperwork in Los Angeles last month asking for sole legal and physical custody . In her proposal, she suggested Chris only receive visitation rights .

Chris wasn't having it. He fired back, demanding joint legal and physical custody. He also wants both parties to cover their own legal fees – directly pushing back against Diamond's request that he pay for everything .

This legal battle didn't come out of nowhere.

Weeks before the filing, Diamond publicly accused Chris of trying to scare off her new boyfriend, even though he's also in a new relationship . Chris's girlfriend, Jada Wallace, jumped in and accused Diamond of keeping Lovely away from her father . The back-and-forth escalated when Diamond hinted she was ready to fight Jada physically .

Meanwhile, Chris and Jada welcomed a baby boy in late April, adding another chapter to his growing family .

Chris is already father to 12-year-old Royalty with Nia Guzman, and son Aeko Catori, born in 2019, with Ammika Harris . Now he's in court fighting to make sure Lovely has both parents actively in her life – not just on weekends.

The judge will have to decide what's best for the 4-year-old. But one thing is clear: Chris isn't sitting back and letting this one go.
