Part 2 Testing the New Eaton Cummins Endurant XD Pro!! HEAVY HAUL, HILL START AID, ROCK FREE & MORE

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching. THERE IS A LOT OF INFORMATION PACKED INTO THIS VIDEO!!! PLEASE WATCH ALL THE WAY UNTIL THE END!!! In this second in a series of videos, Ethan and I continue our trip to Eaton Cummins to test out their new Endurant XD Pro 18 speed automated transmission at their proving grounds in Marshall, Michigan. This was a joint effort with Miller Industries out of Chattanooga, TN, and Roberts Heavy Duty Towing, Inc., out of Lexington, KY. We definitely put this automated transmission through some difficult tasks. In this video Ethan I and drive the heavy haul truck weighing 145,000 lbs (65770 kgs) around the oval track as well as the "large grade" portion of the track. The "large grade" has a section of 15% grade on one side and 8% grade on the other. We were able to stop on the hill and easily start backing up with that same 145,000 lbs!!! I also drive a Kenworth T880 weighing around 65,000 lbs (29484 kgs) around one of the off-road portions of track to test the "rock free", the "creep", and the "high reverse". I was highly sceptical, but, after testing this transmission, I absolutely LOVE this thing!!! Good Lord willing, when we order a new heavy towing unit, we WILL outfit it with this transmission.
