Today I’m playing where the Pro’s play, the PGA West Stadium Course! This course hosts the PGA TOUR's The American Express as the annual stop out in La Quinta, CA. This course is an absolute beast, playing to 7,300 yards from the tips! Also according to Golf Digest, the course currently ranks as the 8th most difficult course in the country!

Pete Dye was asked to build a "West Coast TPC Sawgrass" and this was the result. Also interesting to note that famed architect Tom Doak first learned the trade from Pete Dye, and this course was the first big project he worked on! Featured holes on the Front 9 include the par 3 6th and par 4 7th, a part of "Amen Corner", where there's nothing but water everywhere!!
