Create a Custom Shirt Logo Using Heat Transfer Vinyl
In this video, Bonnie goes over the process of turning a logo on a business card into a logo on a t-shirt.
She starts out with showing how she imports the logo. For this project, all Bonnie did was take a picture of the logo on her husband’s business card with her phone. She just uploaded that photo to her computer and imported it into Silhouette Studio.
She then uses the trace tool to trace the image and cleans up the stray anchor points. To ungroup the design, she right-clicks and selects release compound path. This ungroups each portion of the project and makes it editable.
After she has it exactly like she wants she duplicates each layer and cuts it out using her Silhouette Cameo. She then shows how to layer each piece of vinyl to a shirt using a heat press.
