ACUSTICA AUDIO DIAMOND TRANSIENT || PART 2 || How to use the FINE TUNE mode to perfect your dynamics and achieve better dynamic range

Yes.. more acustica audio plugins.. and this week a plugin review of a brand new release!
Acustica have teamed up with Luca Pretolesi and studio DMI once again to faithfully recreate the dbx expansion of the legendary dbx 3bx dynamic range expander.
Acustica decided to add more than just expansion into the plug in which includes a fine tune section and an addition filter and dynamic eq.

Luca Pretolesi (major lazer) is a highly respected audio engineer who has previously collaborated with Acustica Audio to create the diamond plugin series which consists of the diamond color eq (3) & acustica diamond lift (2).

In part 1 I looked specifically at the diamond lp-3x and how it automatically gives you a luca pretolesi mastering preset straight out the box. In this video we are looking into the fine tune mode of the lp3x and how you can individually expand and compress the 3 individual bands whilst also having an added option of different clipping.

In part 3 I will be looking at the second offering within the diamond transient package which is the acustica DYN-F and how the filtering and added low dynamic frequency boosting add to the dynamic shaping of the LP-3X.

Hopefully this video can also be a good tutorial for those looking into how audio expanders work and when to use them.
