Toyota Land Cruiser FJ at PIMS 2026 First Impressions -A Worthy Successor to the FJ Cruiser?

One of the biggest reveals at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) 2026 is the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser FJ.

In this first impressions video, we take a closer look at Toyota's newest off-road SUV and find out whether it lives up to the Land Cruiser name. While many are calling it the successor to the iconic FJ Cruiser, the Land Cruiser FJ is actually a very different vehicle. Built on Toyota's IMV platform, the same architecture used by the Tamaraw, it combines rugged off-road hardware with a more compact footprint and a unique position in Toyota's lineup.

With prices ranging from ₱2.34 million to ₱2.575 million, the Land Cruiser FJ is bound to spark debate. Does it deserve the Land Cruiser badge? Is it worth the asking price? Or will it find a loyal following among off-road enthusiasts, adventurers, and modifiers much like the Jimny?
