UPDATE: I have personally verified on PC that you can use a random username and email if you wish. It doesn't force you to verify your email, so that's good.

DOOM Eternal campaign is what can be played offline, with NO online XP progression...obviously. To skip the Bethesda.net account creation / login, you must be actually disconnected from the internet. If you have an active connection, you're online, unless you try Steam in offline mode, but I can't confirm this. I guess you don't need to watch the video...smh. You're likely better off anyways lol.
