Calculus #Lecture 7.2: RELATED RATES - Rate of Change of (Top of )Ladder Sliding Down a Wall
In this #lecture, we determine the rate of change at which the top of a ladder is sliding DOWN a wall. We assume the ladder length represents the radius of a right triangle, and use Pythagorean's Theorem as the technique for relating variables. Then, we use implicit differentiation to determine the formula for the rate of change the ladder slides down the wall.
