06---How to Saving Brick Beagle Camera

This is a recovery tutorial for the camera that is disconnected from the power supply during the firmware upgrade process, causing the device to be bricked.

What do you need to prepare?
1 computer (with Internet access), 1 card reader, and 1 Camera (bricked).

1. How to tell if the device is bricked?
* There is no sound during the 3 minutes of startup
*Camera cannot be reset

2. Disconnect the camera power
3. Remove the Micro SD card from the Camera
4. Install the Micro SD card into the card reader
5. Install the card reader into the computer (windows computer is used as an example in the video).
6. Format Micro SD card
*32GB recommended
* Format select FAT32 for formatting

7. Download files

8. Copy the "kernel" and "rootfs" files to the root directory of the Micro SD card (the first level directory in the Micro SD card)
*The download should be a compressed package. If there is a problem with the copy, first unzip the file.

9. Eject the Micro SD card

10. Remove the Micro SD card from the card reader.

11. Install the Micro SD card into the Camera.

12. Power on the Camera and wait for the restoration to complete.
How to judge whether the recovery is successful.
*Listen to the sound from Camera
*Look at the indicator light behind the Camera,
For example, when the USB socket is not connected to a printer, the printer indicator light will go out for a while.

At this point, you have completed Camera recovery, meanwhile, the Camera firmware version will be V1.1.6.

13. After the recovery is successful, don't forget to format the Micro SD card,
*This step is very important, otherwise there will be a loop playing upgrade voice prompt for subsequent firmware upgrades.
