Once I was engaged and began to speak to my gynecologist about birth control options for my marriage we went over all of the options but it was honestly a bit overwhelming for me to decide!! i ended up going with the hormonal IUD and while I have had challenges with my skin from it, otherwise it’s been a dream. I do wish the natural family planning option would have been discussed more or brought to the table because I have had so many hormonal issues in my life. I will keep my IUD until we decide to try for children but at that point I will try the natural family planning method. I love the idea of having no added hormones In my body. If you are comfortable sharing what works for you I’d love to hear! I feel like these topics aren’t discussed enough and they do not have to be sexualized. They can just be tackled in a factual way where we discuss scientific facts. i will be monitoring the comments and deleting anything inappropriate 💛
