The Bridge * Maurice, Adam & Samantha Gibb (Remembering Maurice Gibb 1/12/03)

"The Bridge" is a very beautiful and touching song that was inspired by the closeness that was building between Maurice Gibb and his two kids Adam and Samantha. All three are featured on this track and "The Bridge" can be found on the Mythology set.

What makes "The Bridge" even more touching and poignant is the fact that Maurice passed away suddenly on January 12, 2003. Within the lyrics of this song is the promise that #MauriceGibb will be waiting once his family "crosses the bridge". And that he'll "never be far away". I am grateful for "The Bridge" and happy that Maurice was able to create and share this powerful song working alongside #AdamGibb and #SamanthaGibb

I dedicate "The Bridge" to Maurice. I also would like to take the time to express my love, gratitude and thanks for the music, laughs, wisdom and all the amazing things he was in life and continues to be on the other side. I also, as well, dedicate it to my parents and other loved ones who are waiting "across the bridge".
