Mahogany’s meaty midrange and fundamental focus take on another level of boldness and depth, especially in the lower midrange, with the spruce-top Grand Symphony 516ce. The 516ce comes standard with a Mahogany top. A Spruce or Cedar top is available as an additional upgrade. The new-generation piezo pickup Expression System 2 is standard as well as the Venetian cutaway.

Taylor Guitars' Michael Lille runs the 500 series Grand Symphony Guitar through several playing styles including fingerstyle, flatpicking and a lovely chordal pattern.
