Rotary Phone Old Fashioned Vintage Retro

I’m loving my new vintage inspired phone by Sangyn I purchased on Amazon. So, if you’re older than 50 like myself, you may remember how phone calls happened when you were a child and young adult. There was no texting. But, phones were the modern thing compared to the slow boat letters that came in the mail. People loved to call and chat. But often times, the calls were kept short just to check in. And sometimes, because of long distance, you always wanted to keep it under one minute to keep phone bills at a minimum. Although local calls were free within your monthly bill, long distance was very expensive, especially through the week Monday through Friday daytime. No one ever called long distance during that time. That was for emergencies only or for businesses to use. It kept social calls to a minimum during that time so that businesses could have primary access to long distance lines. Back then, things were not digital, and there were only so many lines.
