HTC REEL Kid: Janae - Mullins High School

A senior at Mullins High, Janae represents the ideals of involvement, creativity, sense of community, leadership, determination, and passion. Getting involved and showing up has become a clear characteristic of who she is as a person and in both school and community.

As a type 1 diabetic, and being the daughter of a type 2 diabetic, she certainly knew the impact that nurses, doctors, and advanced technology had on her health and future and plans to pay it forward by attending school to become a trauma surgeon.
