2024 HCC State of the College: To the Metaverse and Beyond

Welcome to the 2024 Houston Community College State of the College. This year’s theme is “To the Metaverse and Beyond.” After discussing several key initiatives for 2024-2025, Chancellor Margaret Ford Fisher, Ed.D., shared HCC's leadership role in the development of virtual reality technology for education and discussed the impact the metaverse will have on society, business and education. The event also featured remarks by the HCC Board Chair Dr. Cynthia Lenton-Gary.
