Uyum ve Çelişki: Ekonomide Zıtlıkların Gücü | Mehmet Cahit Güran | TEDxHacettepeUniversity
The existence of everything in life is possible through its opposite. From ancient philosophers to modern thinkers, many have shared the view summarized by the phrase: "Contrary things come together, and from those that do not reconcile, the most beautiful harmony is born. The sole reason for existence is its opposite." In our culture, the most eloquent expression of this idea is found in the saying, "Everything exists by its opposite." Just as the shadow in a photograph becomes more defined through the effect of contrast, the clarity of our ideas is also shaped by the contrast formed by the thoughts of those with whom we engage.
