The Celebration of INDIGENOUS PEOPLES DAY 2021, was organized by the 3 Sisters Collective (https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=3%20sisters%20collective ) at the Four Sisters Farm in Santa Fe New Mexico as a celebration of the removal of the Obelisk at the center of the Santa Fe Plaza during the 2020 Indigenous Peoples Day as an Uprising against the symbols of Colonial Rule.

The Obelisk erected in the middle of the Santa Fe Plaza was a symbol of Colonial Rule over the ancestral Tewa lands was erected in 1866 to commemorate the Conquest of Spain and victory of Kit Carson over the “Savage Indians”

Tewa (Pueblo) Indian memories are loooooong , and it took 154 years to assert the Sovereignty of Indian lands by brave warriors of today’s generation.

The generational trauma of the colonial mind set must be healed for this land to be healed.

The 2021 INDIGENOUS; Indigenous Peoples Day organized by the 3 sister collective was a celebration and homecoming for the recognition of Pueblo Lands
