Delta Force, 75th Rangers & the Al-Akirshi Operation | July 2014

In July 2014, a dozen operators from Delta Force, supported by the 75th Ranger Regiment and a Jordanian Special Forces operator, conducted an operation against the town of Al-Akirshi in Northern Syria to free 8 American, British and New Zealand prisoners being held hostage by the Islamic State.

This video is dedicated to the memory of Sergey Gorbunov, James Foley, Steven Sotloff, David Haines, Alan Henning, Peter Kassig and Kayla Mueller.
