Sometimes everything just works.

This quick activation for Parks on the Air (POTA) turned into one of those perfect days — low QRN, great wind protection, and a park just minutes from the home QTH here in Oklahoma.

I didn’t have much time to operate, so the goal was simple:

👉 Fast setup.
👉 Get on the air.
👉 Make contacts.

The ground spike went in, the 213" whip went up, radials hit the ground — and the CW pileup started immediately.

For the first 21 minutes it was nonstop Hunters.

Exactly why portable radio and POTA activations are so much fun.
