Department of Aerospace and Geodesy Image Film 2022

Explore the future of Aerospace with our students and professors. Together we are building something big. This summer semester the first small study programs are taking place on our new campus in Ottobrunn/Taufkirchen. Already, seven of our 25 professors are based here, conducting research in the fields of aerospace and geodesy.

Your goal is to design faster, higher and further flying aircraft? You want to push the limits of what's technically possible in aerospace? With us you will learn everything you need to turn your fascination and enjoyment of technology into a career!

After the merger of the tradition-rich aerospace research at TUM with the research-strong areas of satellite navigation, earth observation and the geodesy disciplines in 2018, the location is growing steadily. In the summer of 2021, Minister President Dr. Söder opened the first university building in Ottobrunn.

Since October 2021, the faculty has been operating as the Department of Aerospace and Geodesy (ASG) of the newly created TUM School of Engineering and Design. In addition to Ottobrunn and Taufkirchen, Weßling-Oberpfaffenhofen in the west of Munich with an aircraft hangar will also be a university location in the future and part of Munich's Space Valley.

Be part of our mission earth! TUM’s study information days will be taking place between March 14-18, 2022. Register for the study information days today to learn more about possibilities to shape your future with us: https://www.explore.tum.de/explore/studieninfotag/
