News of The Week - 4 tech trends that Gartner says will impact 2023
Hi. I’m Justin Fraction with TechRepublic.
Recent research from Business and IT consulting giant Gartner states that there are 4 trends that will impact cloud, data centers and edge infrastructure in 2023.
Here’s what they are:
One - Cloud teams will optimize and refactor cloud infrastructure to be more efficient, resilient and cost-effective.
Two - New application architectures will challenge I&O teams with new infrastructures
Three - Data center teams will adopt cloud principles on-premises
And Four - Successful organizations will prioritize skill growth among employees
Gartner states these trends are a result of enterprise infrastructure and operations teams needing to cope with economic and geopolitical pressures as they pivot to support new technologies and ways of working.
And that’s the latest from TechRepublic’s News of the Week.
