I finally made an arrangement of Franz Schubert's famous “Ave Maria”. I tried to make a “playable” version without making too many compromises. Often this is played with a tremolo in the melody. It is very beautiful but also difficult for the average, or even advanced, player. I hope this arrangement will make many more guitarists play this beautiful piece.

Another version of "Ave Maria" is by the French Romantic composer Charles Gounod especially designed to be superimposed over the Prelude No. 1 in C major, BWV 846, from Book I of J.S. Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier, written 137 years earlier. (Sorry for the wrong information earlier and thanks to Wilson wapolo1974 for pointing it out).
