Apogee vs AquaHorti vs Danoplus vs Photone — PAR Meter Test on a Yadoker Grow Light

Today I tested a small Yadoker LED grow light using four different PAR measurement tools to see how the readings compare.
The goal was simple: measure PPFD at the same position using different meters and see how close the results are.

Test setup
Light: Yadoker LED grow light
Measurement point: directly under the center of the light
Environment: indoor

PAR results

Apogee PAR meter → 20 μmol/m²/s
AquaHorti PAR meter → 20.8 μmol/m²/s
Danoplus DP-355 → 24.28 μmol/m²/s
Photone app with Lightray diffuser → 24.5 μmol/m²/s

The Apogee and AquaHorti readings were very close to each other.

However, the Danoplus meter and the Photone app both showed noticeably higher readings in this test.

With low-power grow lights, a difference like this can change how people interpret the real output of the light.

This video simply documents the measurement results so growers can see how different tools compare under the same conditions.
