Only discovered this song this year and the lyrics on the first sentence surprised me given that it's such an upbeat rhythm. I soon found out that my grandma had cancer and she didn't have that long left, suddenly the song had much more impact. On the way back from the funeral I listened to this song with my family and it made us all think of the good times we spent with her and reminded us to not be sad that she's gone but to be happy that she lived. So in a way this song is dedicated for her, even though she never heard it. I'm sure anyone else who has had to deal with a loss of a friend or relative can relate to this song too.
