Starship: Sara (Piano Cover)

Experimenting with Native Instruments FM8.

I have already covered this song numerous times, on mash up videos and back about 9 years ago on my old Yamaha MO8. As some of you may already know, I have been slowing making my way through my old videos and updating with newer versions.

I created 3 x tracks using FM8, and sysex files from the original Yamaha instruments DX1 and DX7. The E piano from the DX7 and DX7II are a too "bright" sounding. the DX1 is closer to the original soft E Piano sound when you compare with the original song.

Audio capture: Zoom TAC-8 Thunderbolt Audio Interface
Recording using software: Logic Pro X
Nord Stage 2 (used as my MIDI controller for this video)
