'El Mencho's' death turns Mexico into a 'war zone'

Parts Mexico have plunged into what has been described as a 'warzone' after the death of drug lord Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, or 'El Mencho', the head of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), a cartel that President Donald Trump classified as a terrorist organization.

His death was part of a large scale large-scale military operation involving Mexican special forces and backed by US Intelligence.
