Surrounded by a blizzard of Tree Swallows while birding Plum Island!
Another successful birding visit to Plum Island in Massachusetts, this time in mid August. The early morning flight of Tree Swallows was amazing and I picked up a nice variety of species including two new additions to the channel life list. I had 55 species total during this visit - my eBird checklist is linked below.
