SPECIAL NEEDS/ ADOPTIVE MOTHER SHARES REACTION TO MYKA STAUFFER REHOMING HER AUTISTIC ADOPTED SON.

Hi! I am a special needs/ bio / adoptive Mamma! Both of my kids were brought to me in different ways but both are loved EQUALLY. Both of my kiddos are treated the exact same way, however they are 5 years apart and both have two different special needs that we focus on. My Daughter who is 8 has ADHD and ODD. We work with therpists and she has an IEP with school. She required a lot of attention and re direction. We deal with plenty of challenges when it comes to ADHD. Our son Warren was adopted by us when he was one month old. We had just become a home study approved to adopt a special needs child after our second stillbirth. Our first stillbirth was at 32 weeks and he had Down Syndrome, so we were mentally ready to become special needs parents. We also did not approach the idea of special needs adoption lightly. My husband and I had to do a lot of soul searching and preparing. We also both work from home and have a great business that allows us to set our own schedule! Warren has White matter hypoplasia-corpus callosum agenesis. This is a brain abnormality that presents itself in balance, motor control, vision, spacial processing, sensory processing, speech, and emotional challenges. Our Warren is 3 and along with the typical toddler stuff... he has daily challenges that we work with as parents. I have tried to rationale Myka's decision to re-home her son Huxley because of his special needs and her inability to care for him like he needs, but it just isn't clicking for me. I am highly disappointed and heartbroken for her family and for the little 5-year-old boy who has been rehomed more than one time now! The 5-year-old was basically blamed for the reasons he was rehomed! Children at the age of 5 can take zero blame for any of their actions... HE IS A CHILD! He received a diagnosis of RAD and I explain my feelings about this in my video! Please share in the comments how you feel about this situation!
