That thing called bias

There are lots of "bias response systems" at universities, there are institutions working on legislation to get rid of them, and there are a lot of problems and potential bad impacts that these systems have on viewpoint diversity. What about what happens when the nebulous and vague "bias" gets mentioned when it comes to peer review?
