5 of 5: "Smoke on the Water" -- Deepest Purple SF, Mk 1 demo recordings-- Mar 19, 2006

In October 2005, I put an ad on Craigs List, as a keyboard player, looking to start a Deep Purple tribute band. I had no idea what sort of response I got, but the initial one was enthusiastic.

In March of 2006, we laid down our first studio recording tracks, for our demo CD. This is one of five of those tracks recorded on Sunday, March 19, 2006.

It's interesting to see how things have changed in 12 years. I am now the only original member in the project. I have featured our Mark 3 and Mark 4 members in past videos, but this is the first time I have featured our original five members.
