With her ever-evolving design expertise and versatility in developing quality architecture and interiors, Architect Mohita Garg Vashisht, has designed a space that is a true reflection of its owner’s personality. Spread across 6,000sqft and located in Mohali, the house stands as a fusion of contemporary and neo-classical design.
“The client wanted a humble yet sophisticated elegant space that oozes warmth and a serene feel. Working on the brief we carved meaningful spaces that are both comfortable and luxurious. Also, without making it look ostentatious, we designed each area in a way that there is a uniformity that runs through the house design,” says Ar. Mohita.

In designing a remodeled residential space, the challenge increases many folds, however, it is these constraints that extracts the best in any architect.
The detailing focuses on elegance and sophistication. The beauty of natural textures impresses almost everyone. Textures are playing a leading role in an interior project. Stones and their variations in colors and designs are the focal points in spaces. Metals bring integrity and sophistication.

“The interior of the house does not bow to aesthetics only, in fact all areas are expressively craft to fulfill the functional aspects. In our work exists a complex array of grids, dimensions and layers which are brought together to maximize design functionality and adaptability,” signs off Ar Mohita.
