Lionel Loueke & Richard Bona - There Is No Greater Love(live)

Here's a great sounding live recording of guitarist Lionel Loueke and bassist Richard Bona performing the old jazz standard " There Is No Greater Love". Neither performer needs any introduction to those have followed the world/fusion/jazz scene for the past 25 years. What I love about this performance is that it has that unique African feel to it while at the same time staying true to jazz tradition. In short, this one of the most unique versions I've ever heard of this much played standard. They have appeared on a lot of interesting albums over the years both solo and as sidemen, so there is quite a lot to choose from. This concert took place at the Lincoln Center in NYC in September of 2008.
