Vegetables Atta Momos Recipe 🥟
Ingredients
For the dough:
1 cup whole wheat flour (atta)
¼ tsp salt
Water as needed
For the filling:
1 cup finely chopped cabbage
½ cup grated carrot
¼ cup finely chopped capsicum
2 spring onions, chopped
1 tsp grated ginger
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp soy sauce (optional)
Salt to taste
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp oil
Method
Mix atta and salt. Add water gradually and knead into a smooth dough. Cover and rest for 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan. Sauté ginger and garlic for 1 minute.
Add all vegetables and stir-fry on high heat for 2–3 minutes.
Add soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let the filling cool.
Divide the dough into small balls and roll into thin circles.
Place 1 tablespoon filling in the center, fold, and seal the edges.
Steam the momos for 10–12 minutes until cooked.
Momos Chutney
Blend:
2 tomatoes (boiled)
4–5 dried red chilies (soaked)
2 garlic cloves
Salt to taste
Serve hot vegetable atta momos with spicy chutney. 😋
