For forty long years, every time Chris Dawson looked into the eyes of his two daughters, he was reinforcing an elaborate and evil lie about their mother, Lynette Dawson, who’d vanished in 1982. He brainwashed the children saying she’d run away because she didn’t love them and they grew up with broken hearts. But as we now know this deception was just another example of Chris Dawson’s cruelty. The truth was he’d murdered his wife so he could shack up with a 17-year-old school student. Now the eldest daughter, Shanelle Dawson, bravely speaks about her continuing torment – one parent killed in cold blood, the other likely to die in jail.
