Bach: Bist du bei mir (BWV 508) on baroque lute

'Bist du bei mir, geh ich mit Freuden' is an aria from Gottfried Heinrich Stölzel's opera Diomedes, which was first staged on 16 November 1718.
Yair Avidor plays his arrangement for solo lute based on the version for voice and continuo found in the 1725 Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach.
Recorded using a pair of Schoeps MK2 microphones plugged into Lyra 2 by Prism Sound, with no EQ or reverb added.
