Today's piece is "Just One Of Those Things" from "High Society" by Cole Porter. This arrangement can be found in Hal Leonard's collection called "Jazz Piano Solos" in the volume dedicated to "Cole Porter". The arrangements were written by Brent Edstrom.

A nice, easy going melody that's a lot more difficult than it sounds. A cheerful melody in the right hand with alternating bass notes and chords underneath. The next section has stride bass -- big jumps with bass notes and chords in the left hand and four-note full chords in the right hand. Moderately fast swing makes it even harder. Good challenge!
