Drone Flight across the Pearl River Swamp

This drone flight from the East Pearl to the West Pearl and back began and ended near the mouth of English Bayou. Just to the north in the hardwood zone, there were nine Ivory-billed Woodpecker sightings in 2006 and 2008. Just to the south in the cypress-tupelo zone, there are many trees over 100 feet tall that might be suitable for nesting and roosting.
