Embarking on a journey to transform lives and shatter stereotypes, the African Girls Can Code Initiative (AGCCI) stands at the forefront of a technological revolution. In a groundbreaking collaboration between UN Women, the African Union Commission (AUC), and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), AGCCI has set out to empower and train two thousand girls aged 17-25 across Africa, turning them into skilled computer programmers and creators.
In Uganda, fifty determined girls from the Lango Sub Region, entered a vibrant coding camp nestled in the heart of Lira City, where their future in the world of technology was shaped through this initiative.
