The Japanese Lunge Mine

INTRODUCTION- The JAPANESE LUNGE MINE was a suicidal and rudimentary weapon that was only effective at dealing minor damage to tank armor and would most likely harm the individual and kill them. The Japanese Lunge Mine was a last ditch weapon that was mainly used as an anti tank weapon and was not very effective at completing the task at hand. The Japanese Lunge Mine was created in 1945 and adopted by the Japanese Imperial Army, and the army stated to "Attack with spiritual vigor and steel piercing passion
-Users who used the mine mainly attacked M4 American Sherman Tanks on the battlefield
The JAPANESE LUNGE MINE functioned by pulling the safety pin and sticking the 3 prongs into the target similar to a bayoneted rifle and it would immediately detonate killing the user in the process.
---------------The Japanese Lunge consisted of a conical grenade attached to a 5 foot pole. It also had 3 prongs at the end of the grenade and was installed to more effectively to penetrate tank armor. A safety pin was also attached to the device even though it was not safe AT ALL.
---------------Some Japanese at a last ditch effort would charge and ENEMY with the Japanese Lunge Mine and was reported that it would kill the enemy and the user surely.

CONCLUSION- During Japans reign, Japan invaded Vietnam and failed(miserably) and left behind many lunge mines in Vietnam
The Viet Minh named the lunge mine the "THREE CLAWED BOMB" which would be later used as a weapon at the BATTLE OF HANOI against the FRENCH REPUBLIC.
