Lords of the Fallen 2 just escaped Epic exclusivity!In a major surprise move, CI Games has officially terminated its publishing agreement with Epic Games for Lords of the Fallen 2. The studio has now regained full open distribution rights for the PC version.This means the game is no longer locked to the Epic Games Store. It will launch later this year on multiple PC storefronts, including Steam, alongside PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.CI Games will self-publish the PC version, while PlayOn continues as the global physical distribution partner. They will still use Epic’s Unreal Engine 5 and online services for cross-play and matchmaking.The original Lords of the Fallen performed very well on Steam, so this move is seen as a direct response to strong player feedback.So: Will you finally pick up Lords of the Fallen 2 on Steam when it launches?
This is a massive W for PC gamers. CI Games listened and actually did something about it. Respect. Lords of the Fallen 2 on Steam day one just got a lot more appealing.
