So that I can vaguely turn to embarrass me.

The events and the faces,
Emotions and places,
But sometimes the mess of my mind just impresses me,

Reliving events of a previous evening,
My poor little ego that bruises so easily,
Biting my conscience to justify reason.

With the people I've lost in the places I've lost.

I have a past that's made up of the real and imagined,
My only excuse was my ignorant youth,
And I've been up since then,
So what's my excuse for the things I have threatened?
