Bryan Ferry – JEALOUS GUY - 2014 Live Montreal

Venue: Théâtre St-Denis (2,218 seats).
Date: Sept. 26, 2014 (Bryan Ferry’s 69th Birthday!)
Tuneage: JEALOUS GUY – originally released by John Lennon on his 1971 album Imagine. Roxy Music added the song to their European setlist in December 1980 as a tribute to John Lennon, who was murdered in New York on 8 December 1980. “We were due to play a show in Germany at a big arena,’ Bryan said. “We thought we should do something special because we were all John Lennon fans. His version is beautiful”
The first time Roxy Music performed ‘Jealous Guy’ was 20 December 1980 at Westfalenhalle, Dortmund, Germany. The single was released by Polydor with "To Turn You On" as the B-side. The song was the only UK No. 1 hit for Roxy Music, topping the charts for two weeks in March 1981. Roxy Music's cover of "Jealous Guy" features on many Bryan Ferry/Roxy Music collections and 1980s music compilations.
