In this video, Dr. Aditi Tandon explains how a vagina was created for A 30-year-old lady who was born without a Vagina & Uterus. This is a case of MRKH Syndrome where the Uterus, cervix & vagina is absent but the ovaries are normal so she can have her own biological children.

We created a vagina between the bladder & the rectum and covered it with peritoneal flaps harvested through laparoscopy.

We also brought her ovaries into the pelvis so we can plan for an IVF, where her own eggs can be retrieved through her vagina and can be used for Surrogacy.

She will now be able to have regular sexual function through her new vagina.
