Magnitude 7.8 quake disrupts water, power supply in parts of southern Mindanao | ANC

On The Scene: The Office of Civil Defense (OCD) on Monday confirmed reports of structural damage following the magnitude 7.8 earthquake that struck Mindanao, with authorities placing the entire disaster response system under Full Red Alert as assessment and rescue operations continue. OCD Administrator Undersecretary Harold Cabreros said the quake’s epicenter was traced to Sarangani and was widely felt across Mindanao and parts of the Visayas.
