Walking Tour of US National White Water Center in Charlotte, North Carolina - Virtual Treadmill Walk

Have you been wondering what the US National White Water Center is like? Have you even heard of the US National White Water Center? I hadn't but I really enjoyed exploring it. In fact, it kind of blew my mind. The White Water Center is a non-profit swiftwater recreation and athletic training and competition facility for whitewater rafting, kayaking, and canoeing. It also has, rock climbing, zip lining, adventure courses, mountain biking, hiking, and ice skating (in the winter) which opened in 2006.

The sheer scale of this place is mind boggling. For a day pass you can do whatever activity you want. They lead "guided" white water raft trips that last about 90 minutes multiple times a day. There are three circuits and involving a conveyor belt. People zipline overhead in multiple directions. We head down to the real river where you can kayak or paddle board. It's pretty amazing.
